Our Story
My Mom opened HBHC back in 1999. As a registered nurse, she saw the need for a comfortable, caring environment for your elderly parents. That's why she converted her house into Huntington Beach Home Care. She made it a place with the warmth and ambience of home.
We have been operating continuously since 1999. Along with our administrator, Myrna, who has been with us from the start, HBHC has housed and cared for countless families. We’ve had a family place their elderly Mother with us, then, later on, their aging husband, when he needed more supervision and assistance. Our home is full of warm, loving memories: of relatives visiting and sitting on the porch, enjoying the warm summer days together; of families gathering with us over holiday dinners; of families and staff celebrating a resident’s birthday! Family members of former residents who have passed on come back and visit. That speaks volumes for the warmth and care given here.
